Leadership

Rhonda Gillard has been in education for over 19 years.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans however, found her passion in education after completing the teaching certification program at Xavier University.  After eight years of teaching, she returned to school to earn her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University.

 

After teaching for 6 years in New Orleans and one year in Georgia, Mrs. Gillard and her family relocated to Ascension Parish in 2006.  In 2007, she joined the Ascension Parish School System as a teacher at Dutchtown Primary School.  She later became an Instructional Coach at Prairieville Primary and assisted in the opening of Sorrento Primary School as an Assistant Principal in 2011.  In 2017 she was appointed the Principal of G.W. Carver Primary School and was appointed Principal to open Bluff Ridge Primary School in 2020. 

 She is married to Eric Gillard and is the proud mother of son EJ, daughter Endya and is the proud Lolli to three grandkids.

 

Jeanne Daigle has 19 years of educational experience. Thirteen years ago, she began her career in Ascension Parish Public Schools at Prairieville Primary. As part of the LIFT grant, she served one year as a Principal Intern at Lower Elementary. She returned to Prairieville Primary to serve as an Instructional Coach, a position she held for two years before being named Assistant Principal of Bluff Ridge Primary.

 

Mrs. Daigle earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Spring Hill College in Mobile and a master's degree in educational leadership from Texas Tech University. She and her husband of 20 years, Ronny, have four children: Landon, Alexandra, Andrew, and Parker.
