Leadership

Rhonda Gillard has been in the field of education for over two decades. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans. However, she found her passion in education after completing the teaching certification program at Xavier University. After eight years of teaching, she returned to school to earn her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University.

After teaching for 6 years in New Orleans and one year in Georgia, Mrs. Gillard and her family relocated to Ascension Parish in 2006.  In 2007, she joined the Ascension Parish School System as a teacher at Dutchtown Primary School.  She later became an Instructional Coach at Prairieville Primary and assisted in the opening of Sorrento Primary School as an Assistant Principal in 2011.  In 2017 she was appointed the Principal of G.W. Carver Primary School and was appointed Principal to open Bluff Ridge Primary School in 2020. 

 She is married with two children and is a proud Lolli to her beautiful grandkids.

Jeanne Daigle brings over 20 years of dedicated experience in education, with a strong commitment to fostering student success and instructional excellence. Her journey in Ascension Parish Public Schools began in 2008 at Prairieville Primary. As part of the Leadership Instruction for Teachers (LIFT) grant, she spent a year as a Principal Intern at Lower Elementary in Donaldsonville. After completing the job-embedded principal preparation program, she returned to Prairieville Primary, where she served as an Instructional Coach for two years. In 2020, she was appointed as the Assistant Principal of Bluff Ridge Primary and assisted in opening its doors.
 

Mrs. Daigle holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Spring Hill College in Mobile and a master's degree in educational leadership from Texas Tech University. She is married and the proud mother of four children.
